EC vs WC Update: WC Side Announced
Mike Pote retains the captaincy after somewhat of a Baptism of fire in the 2010 encounter. All eyes will be on him and his team as they look to salvage some local pride in the sixth consecutive fixture between these two fine sides. The EC currently hold the proud record of 4 wins and a solitary loss . WC have a serious line-up this year boasting no less than 10 first team representatives in the 2010 /2011 season. A welcome return for Shaun Haynes, while debuts for Johnson and Maio, making up the XI.
The match starts at 12pm, 40 overs per side. Players to please bring R100 to cover playing shirts.

A pity it isn’t strength vs strength..
I agree that the WC team looks a bit shoddy this year!!
Western Cape are always strong on paper but lack the want to win attitude like the GREAT EASTERN CAPE SIDE!!!!
how is johnston from the western cape?
Go the EC team. Look forward to hearing the result. That can’t possibly be Mark Temple, is it?
Avi, it’s EC versus SA Invitational team. like bringing in okes from other clubs etc last year
Roscoe not make the team? sounds about right!
It must be on a Sunday… Roo does not play on sundays!
How did Jock make the EC side??? Didnt He play for Bosch old boys vs school boys the other day? When last did he play an old boys match for his supposed EC school?!
